the boards are oddly quiet

where did everyone go...all the new sites..offering up trendy stuff...I just like this place...I tried Myspace..its for kids as far as I'm concerned..bullying teenagers...and wackos LOL...I should have fit in..but alas...this is where I belong and am proud of it so pppffftttt!!!

I can understand not being interested in Myspace but Mum face book is a whole nother thing. Robin sez she doesn't think you can keep up with too many sites at once [img]tongue.gif[/img] Well I say don't knock it til you try it because there are wonderful games (Robin and I play scrabble during her lunch breaks) and you could join us. Plus there are great applications such as my new favorite puzzlebee where you can work jigsaws on line. I also love the the gifts you can send to your freinds. I'm looking forward to seeing what is under my Christmas tree on Christmas morning which is another awesome application. If Robin is still there I think she should show you around the place even though it will be new to you, it doesn't take long to get accustom to.

oh you guys and your scrabble...we played two games and Robin played all her letters four times...even though my score was over 400 she still kicked my butt

I mean...she played (nailing) adjoining to another word.. on a double word and got 90 points
I never or seldom get the right letters to play all of them...grrrrrrrr..

BUt it is not about the score. It is about the process of playing and all the chitchatting during the game that counts. Do you know Rae, she would not even let me see her letters to help her find a play? Very unsportsman-like if you ask me. But it was fun...mom with her mojito and mee with my Myers dark rum & tonic.
